How does the booth work?
When you step into the booth, you’ll see an image from the camera’s viewfinder on the screen just below the camera lens. Position yourself for your first photo, press the button, and the camera will take 3 to 4 photos approximately 4 to 5 seconds apart. Moments later, your photo strip will be available outside the booth.

We do.
We live outside the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City area — can we still book Red Curtain Photo Booth for our event?
Yes. Contact us for delivery rates.
How big is the photo booth?
When fully assembled, the booth is about 7 feet long, 4 feet wide and 6 1/2 feet tall. We also need access to a three-prong electrical outlet to power the booth.

Our booths fit in most elevators.

What happens if the photo booth breaks down?
The photo booth is guaranteed to operate at least 80 percent of the time, with occasional breaks to reload ink and paper. If this commitment is not met, we will issue a prorated refund.
How do we make sure everyone at our everyone at our event knows about and uses the booth?
First, place the booth in an area where everyone will see it — near the front door, or close to the bar, for example. We also recommend that you promote the booth by asking your DJ or emcee to make an announcement or two, and/or placing notes on your tables.
What type of payment do you accept?
Cash or check. We do not accept credit cards at this time.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. There is a $100 non-refundable deposit.
